We surfed Shell Island this morning. Fun knee high surf with offshore winds.
Welcome all new guests and return visitors! The world of Stand Up Paddling (SUP) is growing fast and has taken the Cape Fear region by storm. And rightfully so, SUP has been the most enjoyable experience of my life. I would like for you to enjoy my "stoke", as a surfer puts it, and take a ride with me SUP style!
The camera was angled well, the zoom sucked. I get it. These clips are from a one hour video. I extracted some of the waves that I surfed out of. If you you ("beer") start to think about the amount of waves a SUP catches compared to a regular board then why would you surf anything else. Surfers tend to think that a SUP catching lots of waves takes away from their wave count (like snaking). SUP catches more waves that a surfer passes up and can't catch is the reality. 2 cents, aint a nicle. ("beer")
Peace Out.
