The Biathlon begins regatta style on your Paddleboard off the dock of the Blockade Runner Beach Resort. Test your endurance as you paddle 4 miles through Banks Channel. From there, push yourself to the next level as you hop off your board and begin the 4 mile run that will take you from pier to pier on Wrightsville Beach Island. Ending ocean front at the Blockade Runner Beach Resort.

It's a short competor list as of now. I'm there, come join me! I could see a total waterman triathlon: swim, beach run and paddle in the future. And include a surf contest! Of course in bikini season, I mean the summer.

Unexplained Occurence

Spooky. Huh?

The inlet seems to come alive at higher tide more towards the middle section. I have 50 minutes of sand video. I cught some great rides. Really. I swear!

Like the Incredible Hulk.

A nice and ordinary 12 passenger Ford E350.

A tough off roading machine.

Once Quigley gets their hands on your vehicle, your van goes from soccer mom admiration to redneck off roader drool.

Krista and I dodged two snow storms in two weeks. Last week we went to Charlotte to buy the van and it started snowing before we left. This Thursday night I drove 8 hours through after work to Manchester, Pennsysomethingoranother (cant spell). They where expecting record snow fall to start on Friday afternoon. We caught a flight back home at noon and they already closed the airport for Saturday. Needless to say, the plane flight through the storm was interesting. Luckily I wore my brown pants! Dodged another one.
