Little Hawaii. When it's big it breaks 4x farther out and the right is perfect and drops you off into an easy paddle back out.  The left takes you to the inside where the rocks are.

 Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club sits in front of Little Hawaii. Pool,bar and restaurant. We had full access to the facilty because the Marriot is within the plantation. Everything is secure.

 Just another shoulder high rivermouth wave. Although, not a set wave.

The Marriot is located within  afew minutes from the beach club and 10 minutes from Avellanas beach parking lot, 15 minutes from Tamirendo, 20 minutes from Playa Negra and 30 minutes from Playa Grande.

 Can't get ready fast enough. Chest high glass. Today was about the lefts.

Rights weren't too bad either!

We have surfed this spot 3 days straight by ourselves. Offshore and chest high with the occasional head high sneeker sets.

Day 2 Extras

Monday night at Avellanas parking lot. We didn't go out because of the chop and crowd. I'm glad we didn't. A monster set of 3 to 4 waves cleared out the entire line up. The set was probably double overhead and closed out accross the entire beach. We would have gotten obliterrated on SUPs.

Costa Rica Trip Day 1

Justin - Monday morning at "Rock Pile". This break is a rock/reef that's a 1/2 mile offshore!
